Twitch Interactivity allows your viewers to interact with your stream directly in real time. They can;

  • Use # Commands in chat to 'Help' give health when you need it, spawning useful items in the world, badly needed loot or even an AI Companion.
  • Use # Commands in chat to 'Hinder' your progress by spawning extra enemies in your game.
  • See their TWITCH username in game above items they have given you, or enemies they have spawned, this way you can call them out directly by name without having to read the chat log.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR STREAMERS

For new players we recommend enabling some Blessings to make the game easier when first using the Mixer Interactivity (double player health and reduce enemy health for example) this allows you to get used to the combat and game systems without the added difficulty that extra enemies spawned by your viewers can add.

Streaming Interactivity works well in combination with City of Brass - Blessings and Burdens customizable difficulty settings. For example;

  • Start a new game with extra hard Burdens enabled. Enemies that move fast, re-spawn and do deadly damage, but rely on your audience to help you get through.

  • Turn a bunch of the Blessings on, making the game easier, do double damage and have extra health - now challenge your audience to try to kill you!

  • Enlist the help of your audience to complete some of the harder achievements that require full play-through with all the difficulty Burdens turned on.

  • Combinations of Blessings and Burdens can create unique play style experiences that give your audience a role to play in the game.
